I'm tempted to just write "What Stephanie said" for all of these, but I won't ...
One of the hard truths that we faculty have had to confront is that each of us is at a totally different place with our own knowledge of technology and comfort with using / teaching it. Since most of us come from professional newsrooms, much of this depends on when we left our reporting / editing jobs, what we were doing before we left and our overall personal relationship with technology.
Because academia is by its nature independent and rather solitary, it often feels like each of us is flying solo when it comes to bringing technology into the classroom -- and the experience that students get varies greatly depending on who their professors are, what classes they take.
