Id really like to know the specifics of how other participants are going about incorporating multimedia in a technical sense into newswriting courses (especially for faculty who may not be the most technically literate). Im also always looking for new in-class exercises and assignments. Though we have some ideas, Im also hoping for more suggestions on how to bring what we learn at Poynter back to the rest of the faculty.
Im not sure what I have to offer the others except an understanding of newsroom dynamics re. multimedia. I left journalism only recently and am still in touch with people, plus this is what I research.
