Well, I guess I'm still trying to figure that out. I made the transition to teaching full-time last semester and was brought on primarily to help "converge" the curriculum and to help upgrade the program to provide more of a multimedia focus.
This is my second semester teaching multimedia journalism and what I do know is that the students are thirsty to learn about new technologies and different ways to tell stories. Some of the "old guard" faculty members are not as enthusiastic. I'm eager to learn how others are succeeding in blending the old with the new.
