At Lyndon State College I am teaching a brand new course that I am inventing as we go along called "Writing for Broadcast in Converging Environment." (This title, admittedly an oxymoron, was handed to me.) It's a blessedly small writing seminar (eleven students) populated mostly by student television reporters and shooters. The text is "Convergent Journlalism," by Stephen Quinn and Vincent Filak. I am in the process of getting our tech guru to build us an internet "sandbox") where we can experiment within the classroom.
